Tyre safety is very important, and it is a legal requirement to ensure all the Tyres are roadworthy. Failure to comply can result in 3 penalty points and a fine of up to £2500 per tyre. If all four tyres were defective you could be fined up to £10,000 and 12 penalty points on your licence (you would lose your licence).

The legal minimum tread depth for your tyres is 1.6mm, however, most motoring organisations recommend replacing them when the tread depth is down to 2.5mm for driving in the summer and 3mm for driving in the winter – you will notice the difference in grip!
